Volunteer

Looking for a meaningful way to connect with nature and your community?

Volunteers keep Boxerwood going: it’s part of our non-profit model, and the only way our organization can accomplish all that it does.

Last year more than 80 volunteers helped Boxerwood advance its Earth care mission by assisting with school programs, tending the garden, welcoming visitors, caring for our facilities, providing technical expertise, and serving on committees. Our volunteer program brings all kinds of people together: we’d love to have you join us.

Whether you’ve got a lot of time or a little, are looking for hands-on work or prefer something less active, we’ve got options. Training provided.

PERKS: Making a difference is the best benefit of all, but so is the opportunity to meet others who share your interests and values. Boxerwood volunteer programs include occasional (and optional) enrichment opportunities such as special talks and tours and annual gatherings for volunteer recognition.
