A Fond Farewell

Dear Boxerwood Community,

As I prepare to step down as Executive Director, I wanted to share some parting thoughts with all of you who make this organization so special.

It has been the highlight and privilege of my professional life to be a part of this team. At Boxerwood, I witnessed people in every decade of life, literally from childhood through their eighties, doing amazing things and acting on their values. What a gift to be a part of this special team, this special place.

The dedication I've seen from our staff, volunteers, and supporters has inspired me daily. Together, we've nurtured our garden, our programming, and our community, creating a place where humans flourish side by side with the natural world.

I leave knowing that the seeds we've planted together will continue to grow under new leadership. Boxerwood's mission remains as vital as ever, and I'm excited to see how it evolves in the years to come.

Boxerwood will always be in my heart, and I have no doubt the next chapter of this organization's story will be just as powerful as the one that I had the opportunity to be a small part of.
