HOURS - We say that the grounds are open daylight hours, dawn to dusk. That means that the hours, just as the gardens, change with each season! Through most of the year, you'd be happy coming from 8:00 until 5:00, until around 8:00 in the summer. Munger Lodge is usually open Monday through Friday, 8:00 until 4:00.

DIRECTIONS -  From the Lexington Visitors' Center - Go west on Washington Street to Lee Avenue. Turn left on Lee. Go 2 blocks until Lee ends, turn right onto Preston and left onto Jackson Avenue. After 5 blocks, turn right onto Ross Road. Follow Ross Road nine-tenths of a mile (.9). Go well past the sign on the right for "Kendal." Boxerwood is around the curve, just over half a mile and past several houses, on your left.

SELF-GUIDED WALKS - Munger Lodge, our Welcome Center, has maps, nature information, bathrooms, and fun stuff for kids (scavengrer hunts, touch it area for skins, skulls, and more).

GUIDED TOURS - These can be arranged by appointment for groups of 5 or more. Give us a call.
