Boxerwood and Washington & Lee Partner with VISTA Program

VISTA position at Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Gardens, starting August, 2016.  Boxerwood seeks a VISTA volunteer to develop and implement a volunteer program.  Will prepare plans to recruit, train and manage a corps of volunteers; will also work closely with team to develop funding resources, preparing proposals and planning events.  The VISTA volunteer will also work on education program outreach and cultivating partnerships.  VISTA is a national community service program that supports a one-year volunteer commitment with an annual stipend of $12,000, a $5,200 educational award option, and other benefits.  To apply, send a resume and a cover letter explaining why you want to serve Boxerwood, to Levy Schroeder at levy@boxerwood.org.
