resources of Boxerwood Nature Center & Woodland Garden,
the horticultural legacy of Robert S. Munger, MD (1911-1988), Boxerwood
Education Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission
is to educate
and inspire
people of all ages
toward becoming successful and
environmentally responsible
stewards of the Earth. |

Our Goals
1. To develop and administer year-round activities, presentations,
exhibits and special events designed to

encourage a closer relationship with one's self and nature |
 |
create an awareness of the
beauty, diversity, complexity and fragility of nature's systems and
|
 |
teach skills and
behaviors needed to be effective stewards of the Earth. |
2. To
demonstrate environmental stewardship in the care and use of our
land in order to
 |
preserve and maintain the various natural
communities, habitats and the woodland garden. |
